Sexual abuse effect 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys before they turn 18 years old. 34% of people who are sexually abused as a child are abused by family members. These acts leaves so many broken people in the world who are scarred for life and in need of healing. People we must Speak Out and Now and raise awareness of this very thing. Our Members
Our members and staff are all either survivors, a parent of survivors, or have been indirectly affected by sexual abuse as an adult and/or as a child and are passionate about healing others. They have overcome so many obstacles in life and are now dedicated to raising awareness for child sexual abuse and rape. Our team is here to provide council, a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, pray for you and with you, accompany you to make reports if needed and much more. We also take prayer request and lift them before God on your behalf.

Our Founder
Zaneta Nicole is a passionate entrepreneur, dedicated mother of four, accomplished author, and the visionary founder of Speak Out Now. She brings a wealth of academic and professional achievements to her work—including a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Associate degrees in both Criminal Justice and Business Administration, and ongoing Master’s studies in Public Administration. Additionally, her computer administration certifications reflect her love for technology and gadgets.

Originally from Connecticut, Zaneta’s early focus on nurturing and educating children led her to own and operate ShoeShoe’s House, a daycare in West Haven. In 2015, a career promotion brought her to South Carolina, where she continued to cultivate her entrepreneurial drive and commitment to serving others.
​
Along with her non-profit, Zaneta also established ZNB’s Business Consulting, a company designed to help individuals and organizations with business startups, marketing strategies, website creation, and more. A devoted member of Life Center Fellowship, she credits her unwavering faith as the cornerstone of her life, guiding both her personal and professional endeavors.

Zaneta’s dedication to advocacy is at the heart of Speak Out Now, whose mission is to raise awareness of child sexual abuse and rape, and to provide support and resources for survivors. Operating in five states—South Carolina (home base), Connecticut, Georgia, New York, and Virginia—the organization uses both in-person and virtual platforms to reach those who need help, regardless of location.

Through her writing, Zaneta shares insights and experiences that inspire readers to seek healing and empowerment. In every role she holds—mother, entrepreneur, author, and advocate—Zaneta remains steadfast in her belief that each of us can make a difference. By shining a light on issues too often silenced, she strives to “live a life that God can be proud of” and help others do the same, one step at a time.
